Sustainability around the world: Asia

Japan and India recently made agreements to drive low-carbon energy development in their nations – but also to work in close collaboration to make this happen.

To aid this difficult transition in two major energy-consuming nations, they will track and report the impact of policies, industry modernization processes and any tackle any emerging issues in a collaborative manner.

Challenges are omnipresent; both in stepping away from a carbon-based society, and in working out a sustainable pathway. However, a collaborative approach to progress, with technology and knowledge exchange, can hopefully create a smoother sustainable transition.
